Two projects Rohan has worked on recently have been
nominated for awards in the USA.
Firstly, the Sardinian Cookbook he worked on with Efisio Farris a while back (Sweet Myrtle and Bitter Honey) was nominated by the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) in two categories in their annual cook book awards:
First Book. The Julia Child Award. Cookbooks by writers who have not previously authored, co-authored, or significantly contributed to a food or beverage related book.
And:
International Category. The Le Cordon Bleu Award. Cookbooks that focus on foods of a particular geographical region or cultural identity outside of the United States.
The book finished in the top three of three in both cases.

The story he shot for Virtuoso Life magazine, Ticket to Truffledom, by Jessica Mueller, has been recognized by the North American Travel Journalists Association. It received a merit award in the cataogry of Culinary Travel. Further information about this award can be found here: NATJA web page

I’ve started writing a regular blog (hanging around
all those journalists in Central America obviously
gave me ideas...) and so this area on the website is
going to be pretty much just news updates from now
