I am the author of
Wisdom of the Heart: Meditations from the Jewish Mystical Tradition

I am a very experienced meditator and teacher of meditation, and have been a student of Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism for more than ten years. I have, over a period of more than twenty years, facilitated many workshops in Creative Writing, Mysticism and Meditation, and Buddhist studies.

Though Jewish by origin, I practised Buddhism for many years, and was privileged to receive teachings and Initiations from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, The Ven Geshe Damcho Yonten and other highly respected Lamas.

When I was guided back my Jewish roots more than ten years ago, I quickly discovered the Jewish Mystical tradition, a discipline which I have found both exciting and illuminating. Nevertheless, I continue to value and explore Buddhist thought and teachings, studying the works of both ancient and contemporary teachers, finding that these both enrich and expand my personal practice.

I am an active member of the Bristol and West Progressive Jewish Congregation, and regularly lead Friday night services there based on meditation.

I am a Student Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers.

In my daily life and in my work, I am committed to the practice of Heart to Heart Dialogue, or Compassionate Listening.

I am the mother of two sons and a grandmother with two granddaughters. I live near Bristol with my partner, who is a writer, a teacher and a psychotherapist.

My passions are: Swimming in the sea, travelling, gardening (especially growing tulips), making soup, walking… and dancing the Argentinean Tango.
